My dell c1660w shows in display that I should change one the toners. I did so and the same error message comes up in the display. I've tried several toners.... Anyone knows what this could be??

Scans initiated on printer keypad go to destination folder C:\users\username\documents on Dell8500 (Note: NOT MyDocuments)
How do I change the destination folder to some other folder?

Old HP Laser could Center paper in the tray (paper path), New Dell Laser B5460DN Cannot, How to Adjust?
Customer cannot center an odd card stock size in the paper path on Dell B5460DN
(whereas old HP Laserjet had a left and right width adjustment).
Dell can only push the card stock to the Left in the paper tray with the width guide.
Program which client is printing from cannot be adjusted to move the printable area.
Is there a software(driver?) adjustment, or PCL code, that can remedy the situation?

c2665 laser printer issue
Greetings
In trying to print several pages from the manual paper feeder (MPF), the printer prints 2 pages and then tells me to load paper into the MPF (which is already there). I remove the paper, then put it back in and it prints the same 2 pages. It will not print the rest of the pages.
Any ideas?

Can't Download Scan Applications from Computer
I've used the scanner on my V715w numerous times, but today I can't. When I select my Inspiron 620 Win 7 computer to which to send the scan, it comes back with the message that it can't retrieve scan applications list from the computer.
I unplugged the printer, waited, plugged it back in. Didn't fix it. I tried printing from the computer, printed fine. What can I do to get it to read the scan applications from the computer?
Edit: Since I originally posted, I went to the Dell Printer Home app, and selected Scan to PDF, and it scanned. So everything seems to be working OK, except the printer can't find the list of scan applications. The Dell Printer Home shows 3 scan applications, Paint, PowerPoint and Adobe Reader. Question remains, what can I do to get it to read the scan applications from the computer?

Windows 8.1 Error for Dell Printer 1320c
I have a Dell 1320c printer which works fine with my Vista Laptop on an USB socket, as it is not networked.
I recently purchased an ASUS N550JV 64 bit Laptop with Windows 8.1, containing driver Dell 1320c HBP, which does not work with the printer using the USB socket and results in a flashing Tray 1 lamp.
I reviewed various blogs and other people were having the same issue and were suggesting using the Windows 7 driver.
The Dell website at URL http://www.dell.com/support/article/uk/en/ukbsdt1/SLN287168/EN states:

I disconnected my printer then removed the driver Dell 1320c HBP from the Devices and Printers page.
The Microsoft website at URL http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/compatibility/CompatCenter/ProductDetailsViewer?Name=Dell%201320c%20Laser%20Printer&vendor=Dell&Type=Hardware&tempOsid=Windows+8.1 states that Windows 8.1 is compatible with the printer and I downloaded driver folder 1320c_SSW_20090918 from this page.
I clicked the “Setup” “Application” for this including leaving the boxes ticked for options:
- Support Tools;
- Supplies Management System; and
- User’s Guide.
This resulted in only “Dell Supplies Management System” being installed so I am still unable to print.
I then tried “Add Printer” but a .inf file was not included in the downloaded zip.
What am I doing wrong and will be grateful for any help?.

C2665 Scan to Email functionality
Just curious if anyone out here has a proven method to get scan to email functionality working on their Dell MFP? If so, I would love to know. Had it working a couple times but nothing consistent. Now not at all and I cant remember what I did before. Any help or comments are appreciated.

AIO Dell V313W printer won't recognize network
trying to connect my printer wirelessly to my home network but can't seem to get it to recognize the network. It still shows only the old network connection when I scroll through the setup feature on the printer. have installed, uninstalled, reinstalled printer several times and it won't let me connect wirelessly.

I've replaced the cartridge twice, still printing a very light gray. I think I need to clean the print heads, but can't find anything on how to do that. Suggestions? Thanks!

Dell 1325CN Scanning issues
I have this scanner/printer connected to my computer. The scanner has both the flatbed and the document feeder capability but when I go to scan anything (I need to go Start/Devices&Printers/right click on the device and click "Start Scan") it only gives me the option to scan it from the flatbed and not the document feeder. Additionally, it only allows me to scan things as images and not PDFs. I do a lot of working from home and need to scan multiple pages to PDFs at once, doing it one at a time to an image and then converting the image to a pdf is pretty tedious. Any idea how to fix this?

Drivers for laser printer using Window 8.1
Does anyone know if printer drivers (Dell 1720dn mono laser) might become available eventually for Window 8.1? I have a new pc and would like to continue using my printer with the new machine. My old pc ran Vista.
I searched for drivers on Dell's website, and not surprisingly there were no 8.1 drivers for this printer, but I was surprised to see that there were no Windows 7 drivers either.........Yet if I read the blurb correctly, it seemed to suggest that you could use Windows 7 drivers on Windows 8.1??
Fact is, I purchased the printer just a year or two before Windows 7 was released, therefore would have expected there to be drivers for that OS..... Had I upgraded to Windows 7 back then, it would have meant that a printer less than two years old would be useless!
If there is no prospect of downloading drivers enabling me to use this printer with Windows 8.1, then I guess I'll just have to scrap the printer [:'(]
Any suggestions or advice will be gratefully received. Thank you.

Dell V305 Wireless - .NET Framework error
I have been trying for days to fix this printer where I can scan, but have had no luck. I have downloaded all the new drivers for windows 8.1 and still it does not work. I have looked at a previous post and the article it referenced does not even show up on the site anymore. Please help.

I keep getting the error about .net framework, and when I downloaded the new drivers from Dell it does not give me the option for the software for scanning.

2135CN Server Not Found error
I have setup my address book properly for my Windows tower, in terms of SCAN TO COMPUTER. However, scanning to my MAC folder comes up with the error SERVER ADDRESS NOT FOUND and I can't figure it out.
Here are my Windows Settings (see attached)
What am I doing wrong? Very frustrating and the manual is horribly written.

Inkjet 725
My mom has an 725 Inkjet and she just got a new computer with Windows 8. There are no drivers for it and when I looked into it further it said to use Windows 7 drivers. But there are no Win7 drivers. Is there a work around or is she just going to have to get a new printer?

You can have a full black ink cartridge on my printer and it will not print black and white if any of the color cartridges are empty while flashing the error message to replace the color cartridge. I solved this problem by setting the Admin menu to " Non Dell Toner" restarted the printer and then selecting the non color option in the computer's print window when printing a file.
I do not understand why Dell would design a printer that will not print a black and white document in black and white automatically with a new Dell black ink cartridge installed just because one of the color cartridges is empty.
Other comments are welcome.

Yellow toner contamination for Dell 3110cn color laser printer
I have had a Dell 3110cn printer for over 8 years. The printer has worked well for us (have printed over 71,000 pages). However, the current yellow toner cartridge is contaminating each printed page. There is a yellow horizontal band that repeats itself with 28.8 mm between each band. I have printed a contamination report that verifies that the distance between bands is 28.8mm. Only the yellow toner is bleeding. The toner cartridge is a Dell-branded cartridge purchased through a retail store (Staples). The model of the toner cartridge is NF556 (8000 pages), and the cartridge is 60 percent used (40 percent remaining). The transfer unit and belt unit and fuser unit are both 70 percent used (30 percent remaining).
I believe the root cause of the problem is with the yellow toner. Even though the printer is out of warranty, I believe that the toner cartridge is covered under a lifetime warranty. However, I am not sure how to proceed with obtaining a warranty replacement. Please assist me with this process.

B1160W Laser Printer AppT, Exception Type Assert - Assertion failed
Several times a day, I receive a printout on my Del B1160W printer with an Assertion Failed report referencing file ..\..\..\..\Platform\App\OSAL\OSAL_psos.c line 2195
This happens when nothing is printing.
I don't know if this is a driver issue, an environment issue or ??
Any assistance would be appreciated. I use more paper to print these out than I use printing documents as I don't print that much.
