MFP E525w cannot scan from IPhone or Ipad

I am using the document hub app from App Store.  I can print but cannot scan from either device.  anyone else have this problem?


Dell 3115 CN Domain Scanning

I have an issue where I am trying to get a Dell 3115CN MFP to scan to a file server from a satellite office to the main office.

There is a VPN at the router level that is working as there are network drives attached to the users account on login over the domain. I can also ping the server through IP and computer name.

The networking on the printer is working as I am able to scan to email.

The computers are running Windows 7 Pro and the File Server is Windows Server 2012.

The settings for the scan go in without issue, when I attempt to make a scan over the network to the server I get a 016-780 Login error. I have used several different accounts, 2 that were created for just this purpose, the domain admin account, and a standard user account.

The printer is accessible by the file server in the main office.

E525W air print stopped worksing

I had E525 working fine on Air Print.  Now when I try to print, I get the correct printer, but it says the Printer is offline.  It shows the printer name, and the Address (28:5D:4C) but won't connect.  I have rebooted the printer and reset the wireless connection, but still same results.  The printer status shows the same address.

I recently installed a Dell AIO printer because it had a document feeder. I used Compatibility mode in Windows 10.1 now whenever I use the scanner I get a Stopped working Error. I have uninstalled the drivers and manually removed the device but still can't use my other scanner, Epson V300. 

Please help.

Dell Mac Driver Prints Poor Quality compared to Windows Driver

Hi there,

I have a Dell C1765nfw printer and use a Mac.  I have noticed that the quality of printout is poor compared to a Windows PC using the Dell driver for Windows PC.  I have the latest version of the Mac driver but the quality is really bad. Any ideas how I can resolve this?

When the printer is out of Magenta toner, it still should be able to print black and white. Hate being forced to buy toner. Actually have some ordered, but need to print something about three hours ago but I cant stand wading through Dells poor customer service department. anyone have a suggestion?

Dell 2230d Laser Printer will not find drivers

I have been using a Dell 2230d Laser Printer for many years, but only recently it has become un-useable by any Windows 7 PC in my home. It does work on a laptop using Windows 8. On a Win 7 PC, the printer shows up under devices, but says that it can't find a driver. I've attempted the automatic Windows driver find and I've downloaded and specifically installed a Windows 7 64 bit driver (to match my system), but it continues to act as if no driver is installed. Multiple computers with this setup will not recognize the printer driver and nothing can be printed from them.


Any help is much appreciated.

Connecting my printer to my network

I have a Dell b260d printer and would like to connect it to my home network.  From the research I have done, I believe I need to connect a separate network card but I have not been able to find one online for my model.  Any help is appreciated. What are my options?


Dell 3130cn colour laser printer lines on prints

I am getting lines appearing on a every copy produced by the printer when in colour only.  It is a magenta line repeated about every 7 cm on the page.  It is a new Dell magenta cartridge.  I wonder if there is some type of adjustment that can be made to remove these lines.

H625CDW H825CDW Fuser Not Available. What do I do?

Our company has a number of H265cdw printers. On March 30th I ordered a backup fuser from a sales rep as the Dell website does not have fusers for these models. I paid $140 and was told I would receive it April 4th. Fortunately I don't need one yet, but I discovered this morning it never arrived. I called and spoke with a support rep who told me the best thing to do was cancel the existing order and he would transfer me to sales to purchase another one. Instead I got disconnected. 

I called back to speak to sales. On my 6th transfer the person told me he could get me one for $300. I told him I have always paid about $150 for fusers for my 2155's 2665's and my last order for the h625. I can buy a new h625cdw printer in the Dell site for only $250. He had no response.

Do I throw out my printers when they need fusers? Or after so many years of buying Dell PC's, laptops, and printers for our businesses switch to a different brand that can support the product they sell?

Dell E525w manual duplex printing - how to turn off?

Just purchased and connected a Dell Color Multifunction Printer E525w

It is running manual duplex printing - which means it prints one side of a multiple page document. Then I have to grab it off the tray and physically put it back into the paper tray feeder to print the other page. 

How do I set this printer to just print both sides of the paper all at once?

C3760dn Jam Tray 1

I have a C3760 with about 20k pages on it. It has been performing flawlessly.

Last friday it stopped pulling from Tray 1. Trying to print a job from Tray 1 yields a "paper jam" error. However, there is no jam. It appears the printer never actually pulls a piece of paper from the tray.

I have inspected the various places looking for a small piece of paper, etc. to see if there is an actual 'jam' somewhere, but I cannot find anything.

I can print from the manual tray fine, no problems. I can set the manual tray as the default, and print all day no issue. However, any attempt to print from Tray 1 though will yield a paper jam error..

Any ideas on things to troubleshoot further? There does not appear to be any broken pieces on Tray 1 from what I can see.

I am trying to narrow things down before I start shelling out a lot of money on items I may not need to repair it (at which point, I should simply cut my losses and instead buy another printer.)

dell c1765nfw prints pink

My c1765nfw prints a pink stripe on one side of the page, and the rest of the printing is dominated by pink. All cartridges are DELL and are brand new. I've run all the usual diagnostic tests and none of the Dell support forum options work. I see several posts in this forum on this issue, but no solutions. Has anyone solved it yet? this is a fairly new printer - can't believe it is time to throw it out already.

Dell 1235 Ghosting Issues

Hey guys. I've been working on a Dell 1235 with ghosting issues that is leaving me clueless. When I originally got the service call, my first thought was that it was likely a bad imaging drum based off of the description I received. This wasn't the case - replacing the imaging drum didn't make anything better. My next thought was that it was potentially the fuser, however this model is very tricky to take apart and no service manuals exist for it (as far as I know). None of my vendors carry fusers for this model, and at this point I was informed this model of printer was only sold for a very short period of time and that Dell never made a service manual for it. So my company ended up deciding to just completely replace the printer with a brand new one since we still were unable to find replacement fusers through any of our vendors. We just recently swapped out the printers, and unbelievably it is still ghosting. So this is a brand new Dell 1235 with new toner, new fuser, new imaging drum, new everything and it is still having ghosting issues. I'm at a loss for what could be causing this unless either the new imaging drum or new Dell 1235 came defected. Upon inspection both the new and old imaging drums appear flawless with no visual defects as well as the fuser. Attached is an example of the ghosting defect.

We continually get the above error.

The error is not covered in the User Manual.

We have tried all the suggestions outlined in the forum for this error code, albeit they are for different printer models.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

C3765dnf PDF top feeder vrs glass feeder

My goal is to scan multiple page into one PDF document and email it to myself.

All the parts work except how PDF outputs.

When using the top feeder verses the glass feeder there are differences.

The top feeder will scan each page to it's own individual PDF output creating multiple PDF files per email. 

The glass feeder will scan the collection of pages into one PDF document (the desired output) and one PDF file per email.

Why is it different?

I can't find anything in the manual. I can't find anything on line. I just can't figure this out.

Just curious as I work at a hotel and both our printers (B2360D) are having same issue of paper getting stuck.
