Please help! I have a Dell laser printer 2150cdn. It is no longer under warranty but I have barely used it since I bought it. All of the toner levers are either still registering full or just below the first line of use.
I'm trying to print a picture that is mostly solid navy blue and the blue is printing out spotty. It has lots of light colored spots and/or diagonal stripes that are lighter in places. The ink is not smearing it is just lighter in places. Also, the ink is attaching fine as it is dry when it comes out of the printer and it isn't rubbing off.
I have tried playing with the thickness of paper just to make sure that isn't the problem and no matter what type of paper I try this problem persists.
I'm not sure if I should replace the ink or drum. I have maybe made 200 prints with this machine since I purchased it brand new from Dell.
