I have been a loyal Dell customer for many years. I have bought several desktops, a laptop and several printers. I have enjoyed the convenience of ordering products online and having sent directly to my home. However, my last two purchases have shaken my confidence in the Dell line of products. I had a Dell printer that only lasted two years. So I bought a V515w two years ago hoping the last one was a fluke........... and have had nothing but problems with it. I have had to replace the printerhead TWICE ( luckily under warranty). It has now stopped printing again and is, of course, no longer under warranty. All Dell can do for me is refund me the money I paid for the cartridges I purchased for the printer in April-- and even that has to be approved before they can authorize a refund. When I called tech support, they wanted to charge me $69 to help me getting working again... and it is a problem with their design that is causing the issue! I was also informed that Dell is no longer even selling replacement printerhead! Hmmm! Perhaps this has been a pervasive problem with Dell? I was passed to several departments before getting an answer. Although I am a very loyal person, I feel that it may be time fro me to part ways with Dell. I will NOT be buying another Dell printer and my next computer will NOT be a Dell. It makes me sad:(
