Hi Franklyfuzzy,
Try the below mentioned steps to fix the paper jam problem:
- Turn off the printer. Unplug the power cord, adapter from the printer, press and hold the power button on the printer for 20 seconds. This will remove the static power from the printer.
- Clean any dust particles surrounding the paper sensor/ paper path.
- Load a smaller amount of paper when printing multiple pages (use only new, unwrinkled paper).
- Adjust the paper guides to hold the paper firmly.
- Now try to print the document and check.
To prevent jams, ensure the following:
- Place the printer on a flat, level surface.
- Use paper recommended for inkjet printers.
- Do not force the paper into the printer.
- Do not load too much paper.
- Check and adjust the paper guides as necessary to make sure they rest against the edges of the paper.
- Select the correct paper type and size.
If the issue persists, the printer needs to be replaced.
