I am completely new to all of this and looking around for help.I am using OpenOffice 2.3.0 on Fedora 8 with a Dell 5100cn color laser printer with the 'Dell M5200 Foomatic/Postscript (recommended)' driver (the closest one available).The printer successfully prints color from the CUPS test page, Firefox and Evince (PDF viewer). It does not print color from OpenOffice by default. If I modify file / printer _ settings /Dell 5100 /properties /device and change the Color drop down from 'from driver' to 'color' it works fine. However, I have to remember to do this each time I start the program, since the changed setting is not saved.Is there a way to make this setting permanent? .I went through many resources and also some videos but did not find any solution for this issues. Please help me out. Any help will be appreciated.
