I just spent an hour on the phone with Dell Tech Support and even spoke to a supervisor. I bought the v715w in March 0f 2011 and recently have had issues with the black print head. I have only printed a total of 1091 pages on the printer using only Dell ink. The used percentages on a test page show 1% for black and 2% for each of the colors. Based on the above post and others I have read, Dell should acknowledge a print head issue with this printer and repair it whether within or outside the warranty period. They claim they sent me an email warning me of my warranty expiration in 2012. I never received that. I asked them to send me a copy of it and they could not. I too will be switching to an HP.
