For the past two months our C2665dnf clicks and turns on as if it is ready to receive a fax. The printer gears up and sounds like everything is fine and then it stops with the error: "Target Fax Not Answering." This is strange because we aren't sending OR receiving a fax when this happens. Checking the fax activity report shows a repeated Remote Station number with reported contact twice a day a various times (between 8 AM and 5 PM). The Result listed is "Receive Again." We have contacted the owner of the fax number listed on our report and they say it is not coming from them. The only other option is that our fax is dialing out for some reason. Is there any explanation for this behavior? The job status shows nothing so that doesn't help and we can't find any other way to clear settings to make sure it isn't our fax machine.
