I can't get my Dell V715w printer to download the list of scan applications from my Win 7 computer.
I reinstalled the printer drivers and software from Dell V715w Wireless All-In-One Printer owners thread (W7).
I use IE11. I have the balloon tips turned off and have checked the "Never show......" in the Printing Preferences.
I uninstalled and reinstalled ABBYY OCR.
I've deleted the Scan Hosts from the Configuration page of the printer server settings.
I've generated new lists of Scan Applications from the Dell Printer Home.
I've followed the procedures specified earlier...."Do things in this exact order. Wake the printer. Restart the computer and login. After the computer connects, wait 2 minutes. While waiting, on the printer, press the scan button. After the 2 minutes, on the printer, select the computer that you want to scan to. Then it should generate the applications that you have added using the Update list of applications to send scans to.
None of these things are working. Do you have any suggestions for me to get the printer to download the Scan Applications List?
By the way, the printer works fine in all other respects. It's a shared printer in a Win 7 / Win 8.1 Homegroup. There are no wireless, sharing, or permissions issues at all. Just the inability to download the list of scan applications.
