I have had my Dell C1660W for just over a year but for the last 3-6 months the print quality is terrible. It prints patchy and faded especially with blue and black images. I still had the ink cartridges it came with in the printer and thought it might be that they were running out of ink but I have since installed a full new set of inks and I am still having the same problem. I can print the same images 4 or 5 times on a sheet of A4 paper and some will print fine then the next one patchy and faded.
Please can someone help me with this problem as I use the printer for my business and it is getting where my work quality is suffering and I am losing business. I also do not want to have to buy a new printer after only 12 months. I have tried cleaning the printer as instructed but still no difference.
I have tried re-installing the drivers as one of the techs suggested on my last post but this didn't do anything. I am really at a loss and am starting to regret buying the Dell printer as I cannot afford to buy a new printer for my business after only 12 months especially when the print quality only lasted 6-8 months.
Thanks for any help
Laura
