I've used the scanner on my V715w numerous times, but today I can't. When I select my Inspiron 620 Win 7 computer to which to send the scan, it comes back with the message that it can't retrieve scan applications list from the computer.
I unplugged the printer, waited, plugged it back in. Didn't fix it. I tried printing from the computer, printed fine. What can I do to get it to read the scan applications from the computer?
Edit: Since I originally posted, I went to the Dell Printer Home app, and selected Scan to PDF, and it scanned. So everything seems to be working OK, except the printer can't find the list of scan applications. The Dell Printer Home shows 3 scan applications, Paint, PowerPoint and Adobe Reader. Question remains, what can I do to get it to read the scan applications from the computer?
